I am delighted to introduce my new book:
"The End of Materialism: Essays on Science, Philosophy, and Spirituality.”
As the subtitle states, it is a series of essays that question the still dominant materialistic paradigm on topics ranging from neuroscience to biology, physics to philosophy, science, technology, spirituality, and much more. You will find immersive and thought-provoking topics that start from a scientific analytic mindset but, on the other hand, look at reality with an intuitive, philosophical, and spiritual lens, tackling questions such as “What is consciousness?” “What is life and evolution?” “Is the universe only a purposeless gigantic clockwork?” “Is a post-material science and worldview that goes beyond materialism’s straitjacket possible?”
Keep in mind that “The End of Materialism” (which is still an indy edition and may look for a publisher) could be considered a ‘soft’ and more colloquial introduction to my more technical and almost academic textbook “Spirit calls Nature” (one vol. 2. ed.,) and that has been amended, with a few further details as well. If you still haven’t read the latter, I suggest to begin with the former. Both works can be considered as dedicated to all those analytical, scientific-minded people who, however, feel that there is something undefinable more than what materialism suggests, but are confused about where to look for and still struggle to connect the dots.
Enjoy!
Congratulations. Can't wait to read it. I fully expect it to usher in a new age in science!!! (well, at least give some folks a little push)
