Embracing Paradox, Evolving Language
Expressing the Unity and Complexity of Integral Consciousness
I had a fascinating conversation with Lisa Maroski on language and, more broadly speaking, on several topics that involve directly or indirectly (ultimately, everything is interconnected with and interdependent on everything) spirituality, holism, perspectivism, and how their lack of conditions our society. We will have to learn to embrace a vision, feeling, inner perception and intuitive understanding of reality and ourselves that transcends dualities and separations growing into a civilization that values the (apparent) paradox of unity in diversity and oneness in multiplicity.
A starting point could be language. A new language that allows for a form of communication that does not express reality in terms of division and distinctions, but rather in terms of what could be metaphorically represented by the Möbius strip and Klein bottle, which I would call a “semantics of complementarities.”
This conversation felt to me like a projection into the future. A future that is not yet here, but is in the making.

Vivekananda suggested acceptance rather than tolerance.
Interesting about the book Uber ??? Gegensinn der Urworte or whatever it was.
I was just thinking about the French Au-dessus and En-dessous. Among other such pairs.
I bought Gebser's book, but it's in the pile while I plow through ANW's Process and Reality.
Thank you for the conversation.
Just watched "Arrival" again last night, which always leaves me with a fire to create new ways of thinking through new ways of expressing. Just pulled up this conversation on YouTube and will start listening!
